The isle of Tenerife has an extension of 2034 m2 and is the biggest of the Canary isles. It is 50 Km wide and 80 Km long. Even Tenerife is geographically located in Africa, politically is from Spain, that’s why all the Schengen zone citizens are not required to have a visa. To get vaccination to come to Tenerife is not necessary either. Tenerife is considered a miniature continent because of its geographical diversity and that’s why different climates can be found in just one territory. For example, in winter you can go to the mountain in the morning and have a good time in the snow, but in the afternoon you have the option of getting a beautiful tan at the beach. This only happens in Tenerife. When Alexander Von Humboldt saw La Orotava valley, which is near Puerto de la Cruz, he described it as the most wonderful valley in the world.
The climate in Tenerife is very diverse because of the many microclimate areas are found in the isle. In the highs on the north of Tenerife the climate can get humid when the Atlantic winds rise up to the mountains. Sometimes a drizzle refreshes the sunny summer days, but most of the times the sun shines. On the other hand, the south of the isle is very dry mostly in the less populated areas. There’s almost no vegetation, only cactus which are very well adapted to this conditions. There’s not much rain in the south of the isle, so you could win the lottery if you get a full day raining during your holidays.

Usually during the day you can wear t-shirts and when the sun shines the temperature gets much better, some guests wear even shorts.
